At AutoPartsDistrict, your satisfaction is our priority. We are committed to providing quality auto parts and a smooth shopping experience from order to delivery. If something isn't right, we're here to make it right.

Please read this policy carefully before initiating a return. By purchasing from us, you agree to the terms outlined below.


Returns

We accept returns within 14 days from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • Unused and uninstalled — the item must be in its original, unaltered condition.
  • Original packaging — all parts, accessories, and packaging materials must be included.
  • Proof of purchase — your order confirmation email or receipt is required.
Please note: Once a part has been installed or used, it is no longer eligible for a standard return. See the Non-Returnable Items section below.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

  • Used or installed parts — any item that has been fitted to or tested on a vehicle.
  • Misuse or improper installation damage — parts damaged due to incorrect handling, installation, or incompatibility caused by the customer.
  • Clearance and final sale items — all sales on discounted or clearance products are final.
  • Opened electrical components — sensors, control modules, relays, and similar components once removed from sealed packaging.

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it to confirm it meets the return conditions outlined above.

  • You will receive an email notification once your return has been received and reviewed.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
  • Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to post the credit to your account.
Partial refunds may be issued in cases where items are returned with missing accessories or non-original packaging.

Exchanges

We only offer exchanges for items that are defective, damaged in transit, or incorrectly sent. We do not offer exchanges for items ordered by mistake or for change-of-mind purchases.

If you received the wrong item or a damaged part, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue, and we will arrange a replacement or exchange at no additional cost.


Return Shipping

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged, or we made an error with your order.
  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method. AutoPartsDistrict is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is a result of our error.
Tip: Keep your return tracking number safe until your refund has been confirmed. We cannot process refunds for items that do not arrive at our facility.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We take great care in packaging every order. However, if your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please follow these steps:

  • Report the issue to us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Include clear photos of the damaged item, packaging, and shipping label for verification.
  • Contact us via email or phone with your order number and a brief description of the problem.
Important: Claims reported after 48 hours of delivery may not be eligible for a replacement or refund. Please inspect your order promptly upon arrival.
